This country is about dreams

Great Gloria Stefan and Emilio Stefan have been just awarded a prize acknowledging their musical careers. Only the second winners of this prize for musical achievement and it’s a proof of the ever increasing influence of Latinos. Cheers to Latino’s and America, as Emilio Estefan said, “this country is about dreams”. A country full of all this dreams that people achieve here despite the meager conditions in which they arrive and live for a while. Long live to this republic.

but why should “latinos” feel identified? i’m certainly not the typical latino, but still I ask…do I belong? I think I don’t belong´
